Through this whole process of creating a magazine, I have come across multiple ways in which this platform is adapting to fit society's needs. For one, technology has a huge role in the consumption of print because there are many online resources that correlate to physical print. For instance, I am creating my magazine online and putting it in blog posts, meaning my content would be available through the internet which can be much more convenient in many people's lives. Additionally, there are many free obtainable websites that allow students like me to create the content that I want for my magazine. This is very helpful in authorizing other people to do the same.

I recently changed my cover page completely from my very first theme, so I believe that my cover page is good now and does not need revisions from what I did not long ago. Here is my current cover page:
To match my new magazine cover theme, I made my double page spread with colors that compliment the front and keep with the new theme of traditional Japanese decor instead of what used to be my bright cover with sweets.
I decided that I did not feel like the theme of my previous product was professional enough to be a real magazine cover. I changed it to look more neutral in a way where there wouldn't be too much going on. This theme represents the idea that I am going for much more than the last cover. New revised cover: Old cover for comparison:
I integrated many technologies into this project throughout the whole process so far. I have learned to use online layout websites such as Canva, Word Document, and a few others. By using these certain online applications, I have made it so it is very easy for me to navigate through the sites and figure out what formats and texts match the theme I am going for through all my cover, table of contents, and now double-page spread. Knowing this information on how to create spreads such as this one will make it very helpful in the future when I have to make articles relating to my topics and exactly how to make the placement look professional yet fun.
When it comes to the production skills that I have developed through this project, they have increased drastically. I have learned to use Word as a way of photoshop and figure out all the right textures and fonts to add in an easy way. Besides using Word and other sites such as Photoshop to enhance my magazine cover, I have also figured out ways to make my research flow in my table of contents to ensure it is easy to read for consumers and is not too busy. Overall, my skills have become much more "mature" considering now I know how to make my project more professional and sellable.
